At the begining of August, Big City Moms in NYC held an Expectant Moms Dinner at Kidville where new "Mommies-To-Be" could come and hear some excellent advice on breastfeeding, newborn care, nannies, and more while meeting other moms who are due around the same time! They enjoyed dinner and dessert at this monthly event while chatting, and a few lucky moms went home with a new Studio Diaper Bag, a Triple Bottle Bag, and a Splash Bottle Dryer!
We recently stumbled across this article in The Baby Mamas blog about turning your nursery into a big kid room where your toddler can relax, sleep, and PLAY! Judi shares some great ways to do a little redecorating while still saving a few dollars here and there.

Skip Hop was thrilled to be one of the participants in Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, Super Saturday 12 in the Hamptons. Founded by Donna Karan and dubbed the "Rolls Royce of Garage Sales" by The New York Times, attendees supported a great cause while filling those shopping bags with over 200 designer selling wares at deep discounts – from handbags and apparel to shoes and Baby Bags!
We loved meeting all of our wonderful moms, Grandmoms and moms-to-be who were scooping up Skip Hop goodies! Celebs spotted shopping included Rachel Zoe, Kelly Ripa, Blake Lively, Rudy Giuliani and Czech model Hana Soukupová (pictured below) stopped by with a friend to buy some gear!
Real Housewife Bethenny Frankel popped by the booth with designer John Bartlett to say “hi”. When we told her we thought she was the “coolest” NY housewife, good humored Bethenny replied “Well that’s not very hard!”
We were thrilled
to be a part of this wonderful event for the 4th year.
