A patchwork of cultures and backgrounds makes up the Skip Hop team. Each year, International Day is celebrated to enjoy each others' traditions and more importantly, each others' food! If there's one thing we do better at Skip Hop than make amazing products for parents and baby, it's eating and last Thursday was no exception. The kitchen table was a United Nations of dishes representing 19 countries from Europe, North and South America, the Caribbean and Asia.

At Skip Hop, we love to see how each parent makes Skip Hop their own personal style. So much that we took to the streets to find the most stylish, funky parents out there that were rocking their Skip Hop like only New Yorkers can.
And so the Skip Hop Street Team Project was born.

We have to hand it to Big City Moms for once again putting on the expectant mom event of the year! It truly was the Biggest Baby Shower Ever with over 400 expectant moms and 75 premium baby brands gathered at the Barcaly Hotel in Manhattan. It was an action packed evening of information, gifting and eating. Between the top-notch seminars and yummy treats, no question went unanswered and no craving went unsatisfied.
We enjoyed meeting all the new mommies and we have to admit; a little jealous of the swag they walked away with.

We made the leap over to Boston this week for the Drool Baby Expo. A big thank you and congratulations to Magic Beans and Big City Moms for putting on an amazing event! Over 400 expectant moms showed up for a night of shopping, eating and checking out the best for baby. We were joined by fellow hot baby brands including Dapple, Bugaboo, Stokke and The Bump. Everyone took home a swag bag, seriously worth drooling over - full of baby essentials from top vendors.
We had a great time meeting all the new parents and passing out magic beans, which Moms traded in for raffle tickets. One lucky winner took home the entire Treetop Friends Toy & Bedding Collection!
